Job description
JOBPerforms diverse secretarial, technical, and administrative tasks that require extensive knowledge of office procedures, various departmental review and permitting processes and requirements, and computer skills, working the supervision of the immediate supervisor.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Performs a variety of complex clerical and administrative tasks including operating general office equipment such as computers & associated peripherals, copy machines, scanners, and voice recording equipment. Ability to maintain and update logs, files, and records with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to prepare correspondence and reports.Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.Ability to research documentsPerforms other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED supplemented by three (3) years of related applicable experience or an equivalent combination of formal education and related applicable working experience. License and Registrations: -None-Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Ability to easily use Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge and practice of organizational and time management skills. Ability to type with accuracy. Ability to use a personal computer and various computer programs. Ability to learn new software programs. Ability to analyze information and make judgment decisions. Ability to understand and interpret complex oral and written instructions, documents, and programs. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to interact effectively and tactfully with the public and staff and to establish working relationships with other employees and the public.
