Responsible for controlling manufacturing and warehouse locations inventory levels through collaboration with Management, Manufacturing, Sales, and Supply Chain to maintain optimal inventory levels that meet or exceeds company inventory objectives and fulfills customer service level expectations; Assuring that our businesses are systematically aligned with the demand and replenishment planning processes, driving towards inventory optimization.

What You Will Do:

- Manage and monitor inventory levels. Establish safety stock levels and inventory targets for raw materials, subassemblies and finished goods based on forecast / consumption
- Work closely with operations, warehouse, quality, supply chain and sales to develop production schedules for all products. Create accurate production schedules and work with engineering and supply chain to create estimated schedules for custom parts
- Work with production supervisors to understand plant capacity
- Analyze production specifications, plant capacity and lead times to create production schedules
- Develop and coordinate plans for items potentially late or past due
- Utilize excess inventory to satisfy current or new requirements
- Analyze new orders to ensure deliveries can be met without impacting customer service
- Analyze and determine corrective actions on items missed
- Prepare and distribute weekly production schedule
- Report deviations to the weekly production schedule to the relevant parties
- Assist in resolving production and raw material supply conflicts, and work to improve efficiencies and processes
- Support CI initiatives related to production planning, inventory control and raw material ordering
- Create and review work orders and generate all the necessary information for all product lines
- Alter production schedule to meet unforeseen conditions, and communicate
- Address day-to-day issues such as rejections and quality issues and change the schedule to meet demand
- Provide supervision and direction to the Demand, Replenishment, and Fulfillment & Stock Planning Teams
- Evaluate and establish best practices and processes to drive inventory optimization
- Lean process and system focus
- GAINS Monthly Forecasting
- Working with Sales Leader to develop forecast by SKU level.
- Loading Field Sales Forecast
- Working on lead times from FO1
- Price Books for customers
- Review GAINS “signals” and develop actions on recommendations
(GAINS Monthly Forecast Review & History Outlier Review)
- Establish and monitor ITO targets
- Approve level changes
- Requisition Process (Internal Req – Requisition to F01/H01 products outside of monthly forecast; External Purchase Req – products purchased at field location req for PO)
- Inventory (Physical Inventory, Cycle Counting, Redistribution of Inventory, Internal Transfers, Execute transactions of all Inventory Field)
- Alignment of field businesses Demand Planning/Forecast/Inventory management team and process
- Other duties as assigned

Education, Licensing and Certifications:
Required
- Relevant Bachelors or associate degree
Experience:
Required
- 5 years + experience in similar position
Preferred
- Experience with GAINSystems is an asset
- Experience with Oracle is an asset
Competencies, Skills and Knowledge:
Required
- Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems, especially with production schedules
- Strong skills in MS Office, especially Excel
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- General Supply Chain knowledge
- Strong planning and inventory management skills
