Duties and Responsibilities
Owns and manages client relationship and client satisfaction—responsible for client retention for our- Serves clients according to our “Beacon” and “Roadmap” service models
- Serves as lead or transitionary co-advisor on accounts that will be transitioned to the Portfolio Advisor within a defined time frame.
- Source prospects, lead the sales process and close new business opportunities
- Manage the organization, logistics and set-up of client meetings and related processes
- Prepares for and conducts annual client meetings
- Self-performs fundamental planning function for clients (typically in real-time)
- Timely meeting follow-up and proper documentation of all meeting decisions, data updates, trading instructions, and other required action items in accordance with “The Savant Way” guidelines
- Coordination of investment and administrative workflows with Operations, the Investment team and the assigned CSR
- Monitors and manages client portfolio
- Responsible for profitable delivery of our service models as defined in Savant Service and Segmentation Standards and according to the “The Savant Way”
- Day-to-day point of contact for client; fields client questions and requests
- Maintain all aspects of the client’s Salesforce record in accordance with “The Savant Way”
- Accountable for delivering Savant’s Core Values and Savant Guiding Principles to each client relationship
The Portfolio Advisor position typically requires the following qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years experience in financial services or related field with demonstrated ability to develop and manage client relationships.- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university;
- Pursuing or has obtained CFP® designation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as financial planning and securities balancing software
- Financial planning/wealth management acumen, judgment, and experience
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Client first attitude
- A team player, with strong coaching and leadership skills
