Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the POS supervisor is responsible for processing cash/credit/bank deposit transactions for the store as well as other administrative duties. They will greet customers; conduct transactions, answer questions and suggestive sell customer service items. They will graciously handle customer returns and concerns. They will train and coach other cashiers to perform the duties of a cashier. They are responsible for completing and returning the appropriate paperwork and cashier schedules.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain cashier schedule for the store
• Assist in training, and coaching cashiers
• Ensure quick, efficient and friendly check out experience
• Ensure the POS staff are representing the highest expression of our brand and the service we provide
• Lead by example by greeting customers, conducting transactions, processing returns, presenting offers, answer customer questions and resolve any customer service issues
• Process cash/credit/bank deposit transactions for the store
• Complete bank deposit paperwork and deposit funds at banking institution.
• Count and balance cash register drawers. Notify store manager of shortages and overages.
• Maintain appropriate levels of cash at store level
• Ensure Asset protections standards are followed at all times
• Complete all training and review all SOPs for position
• Ensure cashiers are presenting add on services and offers with every applicable transaction
• Ensure cashiers understand and execute buy online and pick up in store process
• Assist with Buy on line ship from store process as needed
• Keeps point of sale area neat, cleaned, and organized and properly stocked with supplies
• Assistance in the maintenance of store front and retail displays
• Helps stock shelves in proximity of POS
• Available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds

Pay range:$16.30-$30.36. Intial Range: $16.30-$22.30
