The Postdoctoral Associate will participate in Marder directed research projects and take part in a collaborative research effort of the group.

RASEI (pronounced RAY-see) is a joint institute between the CU Boulder and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) addressing meaningful, multifaceted problems in energy that require a multidisciplinary, multi-institutional approach. Our mission is to expedite solutions that transform energy by advancing renewable energy science, engineering, and analysis through research, education, and industry partnerships.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

  • Under the direction of the Professors Marder and Barlow, the Postdoctoral Associate will research literature, design and conduct experiments, analyze results and carryout synthesis and characterization of organic materials for electronic and photonic applications.
  • In this role the Postdoctoral Associate will determine best techniques and most effective paths to attain the desired outcome to meet project goals and provide guidance on synthetic techniques and material properties.
  • Compiling, analyzing and summarizing data and results in preparation for reports, manuscripts, proposals and presentations is expected.
