The Role:
We’re looking for a Post-Production Coordinator with project management chops to work with Live Nation’s Content Team on various types of projects and for multiple clients in the post-production phase, including branded content for sponsors and original artist content for Live Nation Entertainment and partners. The ideal candidate will have experience organizing information, collaborating with teams, and managing a high volume of projects with overlapping deadlines and tight turnarounds. The person suited for this role is comfortable learning through observation and adapting to the specific needs of different projects through creative problem solving.
Responsibilities:
- Tracking projects in the pre-production phase in anticipation of those projects coming into post-production
- Identifying the post-production needs of projects and aligning specialists and timelines to meet those needs
- Preparing detailed post-production briefs
- Requesting and obtaining assets such as graphics, music, and archival videos and photos
- Maintaining the organization of files on our servers and cloud storage system
- Working with producers, directors, video editors, colorists, sound mixers and graphics specialists for project execution
- Communicating with clients and other external players on creative alignment, feedback, and delivery
- Tracking timelines and deliverables using project management tools and cloud software
- Enforcing project timelines with internal and external players
- Uploading exports to web players and cloud storage systems
- Vetting and booking freelance talent including editors, graphic designers, motion graphics and VFX specialists, audio engineers, and colorists
- Ordering and proofreading/editing captions
- Providing creative input and maintaining best practices for web video
- Following and improving the project workflow standards of the Live Nation Content Team
- Processing invoices and tracking budgets
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must have 1-2 years of experience in a video production or creative agency environment
- An understanding of social media trends and best practices
- Experience with client-facing work and a feedback-based creative workflow
- Experience with stock asset services
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud systems including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Knowledge of Slack, Google Apps, Vimeo, and frame.io
- Flexibility working within an ever-changing, fast-paced content production environment
- Willingness to grow and work with new technology
- Proficient in Mac and PC environments
- Learning the requirements of the job via process and training documents as well as through observation
- Experience working with specialized team members
- Experience organizing multimedia file types within a standard folder structure
- A high attention to detail and obsession with organization
- A high comfort level with high-volume email communication and maintaining an up-to-date inbox on a daily basis
- The ability to work independently, identify and respond immediately to needs as they arise, and communicate status updates
- Sticking to deadlines and solid team communication a must
