Job description

1. JOB SUMMARY:

To perform all tasks necessary for the completion of assemblies including tension gauges and cable assemblies.

2. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Able to perform assembly of parts, swaging operations on #4 hydraulic swager, cutting cable, rolling cable, and sanding of parts as required.

2. Able to operate roll swager (M2), punch press for tension gauges, and rivet assembly of #90 and #91 tension gauges.

3. Able to set up and operate #4 hydraulic swager, and set up assembly of PT & RT series tension gauges and set up and operate M2.

4. Able to set up and perform assembly of #90 and #91 series PT & RT tension gauges with little or no supervision.

3. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs other tasks as assigned.

4. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

1. Some degree of mechanical aptitude.

5. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience or training may substitute for formal education.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
