Title: Pre-service Representative

Must Haves:
- 2+ years of prior authorization experience in a hospital setting
- Technical authorization experience – Surgical, PET, MRI, procedures, etc.
Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for a PreService Representative for a large University healthcare client in Alabama. This person will be able to work 100% remote but needs to be able to work CST hours. Daily, this person will be responsible for verifying coverage for benefits and authorizations for treatments that are ordered from the oncology center. He/She will track progress, expedite responses from insurance carriers and other payers, and maintains contact with patients, departments, and providers to keep them continuously informed. This person should have a minimum of 2 years of experience with prior authorizations in a hospital setting and should be able to authorize technical services, such as MRIs, PET scans, surgical procedures, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
