*****MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3-YEAR OF PRESS BRAKE EXPERIENCE****

RESPONSIBILITIES

*Set up and operate a hydraulic press brake.

*Select correct tooling for the job with setup documents and or supervisor/lead assistance.

*Load, install and correctly set up the tools required.

*Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations.

*Report and document basic material, production and quality control issues.

*Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance.

*Maintain performance log books on assigned area equipment, report deficiencies to Supervisor or lead.

*Participate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator level.

*Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and completed work.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

*Must have strong metal press brake and basic fabrication background.

*Minimum 3-year experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly desired.

*Basic knowledge and understanding of fabrication, hydraulic press brake operations including basic set up.

*Competent at basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools.

*Demonstrated competency in basic shop math.

*Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids.

*Ability to work with various types of metal forming constraints with guidance.

*Previous experience with overhead crane use is desired.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

*Lift, carry, push and or pull 1 – 50 lbs frequently.

*Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently.

*Sit, stand and walk for 10 hours per day.

*Ability to work in a 55 – 90-degree Fahrenheit work environment.

*Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, vision protection, steel-toed shoes and other appropriate protective clothing.
