Job description
Responsibilities:
- As the Principal Engineer you will be responsible for design and implementation of Wired/WiFi/ SDWAN and Network Access Control (NAC) solutions from start to finish project by project
- Offer thought leadership to a team of network engineers; ensuring that engineering best-practice is applied; ensuring the quality of work.
- Craft and manage highly complex network connectivity solutions to ensure the integrity of sensitive financial data and mission-critical resources
- Work together with property/facilities partners on new office/branch build outs, expansions, relocations, and closures projects
- Manage low voltage vendors to make sure standards are applied.
- Manage Cariers, field tech and other related 3rd party vendors related to each Office or Branch rollout project.
- Collaborate with other engineering and IT teams to plan, develop, execute and support infrastructure and network-related projects; offer thought leadership in regards to network service delivery and management.
- Assist & resolve escalating network-related issues; participate on cross-departmental crisis resolution teams as required.
