Summary: Engineering specialist in Extrusion, Tape, Process and Product Development by performing the following essential duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide research, design, and testing for the Extrusion, Tape, Process, and Product Development.
• Establish and grow relationships with industry leaders.
• Analyze the impact of the technical relationships with Extrusion technologies.
• Consult with peers on Extrusion projects and coach peers on Extrusion, Tape, Process, and Product Development.
• Provide research and initiate design activities focused on Extrusion, Tape, Process, and Product Development.
• Develop creative solutions to ensure that Extrusion, Tape, Process, and Product Development maintain a leadership position.
• Partner with internal stakeholders, as needed.
• Actively participate in a working environment where teamwork, quality, customer service and innovation are critical.
• Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Plastics emphasis preferred) is required. Three to five years or more of industry experience is preferred.
• Hands on experience with Extrusion, Die design and tooling equipment (e.g. mills, lathes, etc.).
• Hands on experience with MS Office applications and Solidworks.
• Experience establishing strategic alliances in the Extrusion industry.
• Design experience in the Extrusion, Tape, Process, and Product Development industry.
• Strong project management and technical writing skills.
