JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and recommending policies and procedures for the manufacturing process. Responsible for the day-to-day process operations of the wire mill, extrusion, and CV departments. Support of the Lean implementation

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Companys Culture of Zero by demonstrating safe and quality conscious work habits
  • Develops, reviews, and revises manufacturing procedures and practices.
  • Establishes work instructions for the manufacturing department operating policies.
  • Maintains professional relationships with customers, sales, marketing, and equipment and materials suppliers.
  • Ensures that all department processes and procedures are appropriately documented and complied with.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with other departments to ensure optimal performance and to eliminate process and procedural variations.
  • Evaluates new technical developments and recommends appropriate actions to determine the cause and cure of operating problems.
  • Reviews and evaluates new-product design, specifications, product assembly, and component test requirements, ensuring technical accuracy and cost efficiency. This includes designing criteria for new equipment and current equipment enhancements.
  • Reduces scrap by investigating processes, procedures, operator training, and implements appropriate corrective actions.
  • Supports Lean & CI implementation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. A Bachelors Degree or five (5) years of equivalent experience in manufacturing is required.
2. A highly developed level of creative skills and resourcefulness to manage the manufacturing process is required.

Job Type: Full-time
