Job Title: Process Engineering Technician
Industry/Segment: Biotech/Medical Device Manufacturing
Location: Carlsbad, CA 92009
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay: $28/hr + Benefits: Med/Den/Vis, 401k
Job Description:
- The primary responsibility of the Process Engineering Technician is to perform in-process data collection (such as pH, conductivity, density, etc.), simple wet chemistry formulations, and characterization of the reagent formulation processes
- The Process Engineering Technician will also support characterization of wet chemistry processes and scale up manufacturing, create documentation (such as MWI and MF), and develop methods to measure process performance
- The Process Engineering Technician will perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Gage R&R to understand and address variability in measurement system sources, along with onboarding & qualifying new equipment and performing process qualification & validation via IQ/OQ/PQ methodologies
Job Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Chemistry, Biology, or similar
- 1 or more years experience with direct chemical process engineering, including Bulk reagent formulations & cGMP regulations
