JOB TITLE: Procurement and Inventory Supervisor

REPORTS TO: Support Services Manager

Job Summary:

Responsible for Amerimed’s entire supply chain (requisition, acquisition, inventory management, and disbursement), including but not limited to medical supplies, station supplies, office supplies, and uniforms. Assist with specifying and planning durable medical equipment purchases. Sets and maintains par inventory levels for main warehouse as well as all division warehouses and stock rooms. Conducts monthly audits of all warehouse inventory. Ensures all facilities are adequately supplied and equipped for operations.

Major Job Responsibilities:

Coordinates the preparation of the annual budget for Amerimed’s operational supplies in conjunction with the Support Services Manager and Chief Financial Officer. Assures all expenditures are within budget constraints and are within Amerimed’s purchasing requirements.

Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and other equipment.

Maintains up-to-date and accurate inventory control involving all operations equipment and supplies, which shall include, but is not limited to, the tracking of inventory disbursement. Disbursement could include shipping from a central supply or drop-shipping from vendors.

Conducts periodic inventory audits to mitigate losses

Coordinates new facility setup to ensure those facilities are stocked and ready for operations

Responds, if requested, to urgent supply requests providing supplies and or equipment as needed. Shall be familiar with multiple supply sources in order to be able to expediently provide any necessary supplies or equipment.

Conducts scheduled and ad hoc price comparisons between various vendors to ensure both frequently used and higher cost items are purchased at the lowest pricing.

Performs other related duties as may be required.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. with Associate degree preferred.

Ten years of progressively responsible experience performing analytical, administrative, and operational tasks.

Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the minimum level of qualifications stated above.

Preferred: 3 years direct experience in supply and logistics inventory control, tracking and oversight

Desired License and Certifications:

National Registry Intermediate EMT or higher or similar

Valid Class B Drivers License and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.

Clean pre-employment and random post-employment drug/alcohol screening

Meet all in-house testing requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of budgeting and accounting principles.

Knowledge of supply and requisition practices including purchasing procedures and practices.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
