KBS Procurement Solutions is looking for a highly motivated, customer-focused Procurement Associate Co-Op to join our fast-paced global organization. This role is valued across Koch companies as a team member who provides exceptional customer service by managing customer escalations, backorder notifications, hardware tracking, software license checks, license key delivery, and customer communications related to IT purchases. This role works closely with procurement buyers, software asset managers, customers, and suppliers to ensure consumer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with previous procurement, supply chain, or customer service experience. High attention to detail, critical thinking and excellent written and verbal communication skills are key attributes for this role.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to utilize their customer focus skills and assist users in getting the correct business tools needed for value creation.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Assist customers with questions and/or status updates related to orders, coordination of product returns, and ownership of backorder notification process.
  • Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with business partners, customers, and suppliers.
  • Provide backup/support for the Wichita stockroom (i.e., maintaining inventory, processing hardware returns, and handling hardware checkout).
  • Shared email box management
  • Assist with software license checks and license key delivery
  • Proactively provide solutions, manage expectations and outcomes with and customers and suppliers.
  • Actively and consistently identify opportunities to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in a degree program for the duration of the co-op
  • Currently available to work at least 20-25 hours/week
  • Able to work in the US without sponsorship

  • Experience in a customer service related role
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
