At Diverzify, we believe our associates are at the heart of our organization. The Procurement Manager is responsible for executing a procurement strategy that fulfills the overall strategic business objectives as measured by supplier performance and the achievement of targeted cost savings. The scope of the role includes internal, external, and third-party spending including capital spending. There is strong emphasis on data analytics and data modeling. This position reports directly to the VP, Procurement and Supply Chain. No direct reports at this time however as the group grows there will be opportunities for increased responsibility including direct report management.

Here's what we are looking for…

  • Uphold and reflect company values in all dealings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and execute the procurement strategy with clear savings targets and actions for incorporation into the annual strategic plan.
  • Develop and maintain data analysis including supplier spend data, rebate management, and overall supplier performance.
  • Assist with the creation of annual procurement initiatives for incorporation into the annual operating plan (AOP) and ensure achievement of annual budgeted targets.
  • Lead and administer strategic sourcing and competitive bidding processes.
  • Negotiate best-in-class contracts with preferred suppliers that seek to optimize performance, service, price, terms etc.
  • Develop and maintain supplier assessments so that the stated business requirements are achieved. Ensure that supplier performance is an integral part of the negotiations and contracts.
  • Stay current on best practice in procurement and evaluate new or innovative procurement strategies for implementation as appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with preferred suppliers / partners that support the achievement of strategic goals.

Critical Success Factors

  • Manages and executes a procurement strategy that supports the overall business objectives as measured by supplier performance and the achievement of cost savings targets.
  • Develops and owns data analysis and modeling along with metrics and KPI reporting.

And you would have the following…

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in procurement with strategic and tactical level experience
  • Proficient in data modeling, reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; capacity to be flexible and adaptable, and change priorities and direction as needed.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% to various domestic locations

This is a full-time position, expected to pay $95,000 to $110,000 yearly. Salary will be commensurate with the final candidate’s qualification and experience, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, certifications, as well as aligned with the internal peer group. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the full range for a position.

This position is eligible for a flexible schedule. Candidates near one of our locations will be asked to commute to the office, particularly those within a 50-mile radius of our Atlanta office, where this position will report to.
