Job Summary

  • Contributes to defining rPDU offering Roadmap by consolidating global Voice of Customer to define market solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Offering meets customer needs.
  • Administer customer facing programs.
  • Defines global product requirements, priorities, business case, and release plan.
  • Establishes and communicates benchmarks for Competitive landscape to Offering Management team.
  • Provides direction to Firmware development team on Offering features.
  • Identifies value proposition by customer type.
  • Ensure all customer facing offering documentation and marketing collateral is accurate.

Responsibilities :

  • Subject Matter Expert on rPDU's for executive, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Project Sponsor and interface with Project Management team to approve change requests.
  • Analyze competitor products, documenting strengths and deficiencies in core functionality.
  • Define, develop, and administer customer facing product evaluation programs.
  • Work with firmware developers to ensure product user interface meets industry needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish firmware development priority with relation to bugs and feature enhancements and communicate regularly with firmware developers to make sure customer timelines are being met.
  • Defines rPDU service offering and coordinates implementation with Services team.
  • Works closely with Quality team to analyze global RMAs and determine action plan.
  • Gather & consolidate market intelligence by interfacing with Sales team and Regional Offering Managers.
  • Perform and maintain patent reviews for new offerings. Document data and provide details while interfacing with legal team.
  • Consolidate and review feedback from Global Tech Support team to create plan to address actionable items.
  • Create and maintain Product Documentation including user manuals, quick start guides, and technical documentation. Provide support to regionalize documents as needed.
  • Work with Product Marketing team on creation of White Papers, Application Notes, Case Studies, and Articles.
  • Provide on-site critical customer consultations when required.
  • Interface with other Vertiv teams to coordinate rPDU integration with other hardware and/or software solutions.
  • Provide training and general offering support to back-up Offering Management team members.
  • Participate in trade shows, key customer visits and on-line marketing presence as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Accountabilities :

  • Analyze and maintain data related to competitive offerings and propose product features to distinguish Vertiv in the marketplace by meeting customer requirements and addressing pain points.
  • Increase revenue of rPDU offering globally.
  • Contribute to creation of best in market customer facing documentation by providing consistent, accurate, and up-to-date materials.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical degree preferred with 5+ years relevant industry experience; or at least 10 years relevant industry experience in lieu of technical degree
  • Strong knowledge of relevant customer segments
  • Technical expertise to translate customer needs/pain points to solutions
  • Strong written/oral communication, especially in communicating customer needs
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office applications with specific emphasis on Excel.
  • Effectively communicates technical information and complex ideas to technically diverse audiences.
