Product Engineer
We are currently hiring for a

Job Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, development, and validation process for components
- Provide product engineering expertise to support quality analysis, supplier development, and plant continuous improvement activities
- Lead prototype builds
- Moderate global travel required to carry out supplier visits and customer technical presentations
- Conduct & champion design related cost reduction activities; coordinate meetings and activities, conduct verification testing, communicate with product groups, follow change procedures
- Institute problem solving strategies, facilitate quality issues, review & approve inspection reports and report out at meetings as necessary
- Issue and follow all necessary paperwork/reports for design changes, engineering permits, verification testing, product change methodology sheets and product/material specification changes
- Design, validate and release engineering drawings that meet customer requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong presentation, organization, and communication skills
- Able to professionally use MS Office
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with automotive suspension component product design and development
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
- Able to read and understand engineering prints/drawings
- Moderate level of hands-on mechanical skill
- Familiarity with 3D CAD (SolidWorks, UG, Catia), geometric tolerance (GD&T), and statistical analysis
