The Role
Entegris is seeking a Product Manager who will manage multiple Probe Card cleaning product lines in its Materials Technologies business unit. The newly hired Product Manager will participate in and guide cross-functional teams comprised of sales, manufacturing, supply chain, technology, finance, and other functions. The hired individual will have the opportunity to interact directly with external customers. He/she may also serve as the commercial lead for new products being developed through the company’s new product introduction process, and manage initiatives on existing products in cost reduction, feature enhancement, and increased levels of customer satisfaction.
In this role you will
  • Meet global revenue and margin targets for assigned products
  • Define and execute product strategy including product roadmaps
  • Identify and implement market share growth opportunities
  • Maintain ownership of product positioning, pricing and life cycle management
  • Leverage partnerships and distributor relationships to meet business objectives
  • Interface with the global sales organization; influence and direct action to meet business objectives
  • Provide strategic, technical and pricing guidance to sales proposals
  • Develop strong product cost of ownership models and business cases to support new initiatives
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as R&D, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Legal and Supply Chain to accomplish business objectives
  • Develop demand forecasts for products with documented assumptions and risks
  • Create and present marketing materials including presentations, data sheets, promotional and training materials
Traits we believe make a strong candidate
  • 3-7 years of relevant product management, marketing, engineering, and/or manufacturing-related experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline; MBA's will also be considered
  • Proven ability in guiding cross-functional teams to successful outcomes
  • Experience in the semiconductor materials business strongly preferred; the ideal candidate has a good understanding of backend test, wafer level test or probe card manufacturing
  • Prior experience managing projects preferred
  • Product management, Sales, Marketing, or related experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
  • Good financial skills preferred, including experience with return on investment models and developing cost of ownership models
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal groups and external customers;
  • The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can meet goals with minimal supervision
  • Ability to influence up, down, and across the organization
  • The ideal candidate is a high energy individual who thrives in a fast paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong analytical decision-making ability and experience making data-based decisions in an environment where there is still a high degree of ambiguity
  • Experience working in cross-cultural environment; prior experience with a multi-national company is desirable
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally 3-4 times per year
  • Ability to work in a hybrid manner (some onsite, some offsite) as well as participate in telephone calls outside of typical working hours.
