About the role:

As a key player in the Editorial Production team, the Production Coordinator at Trusted Media Brands supports technical production for digital content across our brands. Reporting to the Managing Production editor, you will assist with daily publishing goals while adhering to brand guidelines and workflow processes. Additionally, you will collaborate with our editorial and SEO teams on post-publishing initiatives such as link cleanup, page pinning, site updates and reporting. Your eye for detail will help drive overall site performance, creating a quality experience for our readers.

You’re excited to rise to the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment and are able to juggle multiple tasks at once. You are a creative problem solver who knows how to work “smarter not harder” by ideating efficiencies for common tasks. Comfortable working in spreadsheets, you are able to stay focused on long-term projects and communicate your progress to different stakeholders across the company.

Your day-to-day:

  • Work with digital editors on a daily basis to make technical edits to articles and listicles in WordPress across multiple brands
  • Collaborate with marketing team to build native and sponsored articles
  • Update company on editorial output on a weekly basis
  • Collaborate with SEO team to help remove broken links from our sites and pin high-performing content to our category and homepages
  • Proactively collaborates to help devise better working practices for the team, and continually helps to refine these processes
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines are met and communicates progress of all tasks to your manager and others as appropriate
  • Assists with other TMB projects as required
  • Support our workflow platform, Airtable
  • Assist Managing Production Editor with ad hoc duties as needed

You have:

  • 1-3 years of previous related experience in technical production
  • Fluency with various CMS, including WordPress
  • Proficient writing and editing skills with the ability to adhere to brand voice
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML; familiarity with CSS and JS a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
  • Proficient with Airtable or similar workflow management tools (Excel, Mondae, Trello)
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects, with a focus on meeting objectives
  • Basic understanding of Adobe’s Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign
  • Excited to hit the ground running in a fast and ever-changing digital world
