Title: Production Copier Operator

Position Summary
Operates and maintains equipment to provide services for the printing and xerographic services of the institution.
Job Responsibilities
- Operates digital color production copiers utilizing EFI Fiery Command Workstation, Impose and JobMaster.
- Performs light graphic design duties utilizing Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat Pro.
- Operates and maintains wide format poster printing system and various bindery and finishing equipment.
- Receives, reviews, processes and produces printing work orders.
- Performs a variety of print finishing tasks including binding, stitching, cutting, folding, padding and hole drilling.
- Delivers copy paper, completed printing jobs and supplies to requestors.
- Assists with moving and relocating various types of printing, copying and other various departmental equipment.
- Maintains inventory of supplies, equipment and/or reagents. May order supplies/equipment/reagents as authorized or ensure that needs are escalated appropriately. Receives supply orders and confirms accuracy of delivery. May assist with cost control.
Education
- High School Diploma
Experience
Approximately 3 years of prior experience operating and maintaining networked copying equipment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of copy shop processes and offset printing.
- Experience operating EFI Fiery Command Workstation, Impose and JobMaster.
- Graphic design experience using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat Pro.

This position required exposure to moderate noise and occasional cleaning formula odors
Ability to lift and carry 50lbs and move heavy pallets of paper
Ability to move heavy copier equipment
