We are seeking a Production Supervisor just like you for our production group responsible for the fabrication and assembly of orthotic and prosthetic medical devices.
The Production Supervisor will motivate their associates to achieve all productivity, safety, and qualify goals and be responsible for reducing waste, and increasing throughput. They will be driven to continually improve performance, processes, and embrace changes that will help both their team and company meet standards. They will coach and monitor department training for their team to ensure they have the tools necessary to be successful, and ensure guidelines and policies are adhered to. Position is on 1st shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but may not be limited to the following:
- Ensure all safety and quality standards are being continuously met and maintained throughout the shift.
- Work closely with the production manager and shift lead to assist and support teams with all aspects of the manufacturing process (safely manufacturing a quality product while meeting/ exceeding efficiency expectations for spoilage and throughput).
- Communicate to the production manager, and production planner any material shortages or outages, along with any other issues which may impede the safe manufacture of quality products in an efficient manner so as to meet/exceed customer satisfaction which includes on time delivery of products.
- Lead associates with a team philosophy, promote and instill this philosophy in every facet of the Rotary operation.
- Supervise, teach, train, and mentor associates; cross train as opportunities present themselves.
- Ensure the areas and equipment are clean and well maintained.
- Ensure associates take personal responsibility for routinely clocking in/out and accurately and thoroughly completing all Data Collection entries and production paperwork.
- Manage hazardous waste and maintain hazardous waste program as assigned, (see Doc.Haz1 on Engineering drive).
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Compliance with applicable Company policies concerning maintaining a drug free workplace is required.
- Compliance with all Company policies is required including all safety policies and procedures.
Education and or Experience
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, related field or equivalent 3-5 years’ experience in a leadership role, leading teams of 10 or more in the manufacturing or production of a product.
- Two (2) years SAP or other MRP system used in a production and/or warehouse environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly supervises 30 employees. Fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and
- training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and
- Councils and Coaches employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- Proficient with MS Office with emphasis on Excel

Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job in a manufacturing environment. Continuous, high to moderate levels of noise. To ensure the associate's safety, when working in the manufacturing environment, safety glasses and any other applicable safety equipment are required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
