Major and established brand name company has an opportunity for a 3 rd shift Plastics Production Supervisor at a major manufacturing facility in the southwest suburban area of metro Atlanta, GA. In this role will p rovide guidance to subordinates to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Will d irect a staff of 20-40 production employees. Will d irect job assignments of employees during the course of the shift. Will m onitor and track employee vacation and absenteeism. Will exercise judgment in personnel process or procedural areas of concern. Assignments may include training and development that is typical of a higher-level position. Will advise higher-level management on work related problems on the assembly line and their impact on productivity and/or the customer. Will co ordinate small group activities and encourage Kaizen participation. Will im plement and adhere to all ISO-9000 procedures. Will direct group discussions and small group activities. Will m onitor safety of assigned areas and maintain accident reports as required. Will m onitor, track, and verif y production activities on the shop floor utilizing the available production recording tools. Will evaluate s ubordinates and review their objectives and performance. Will c reate and implement training schedules for selected employees. Will d evelop employee's career path, provide coaching and counseling to subordinates, and assist them with establishing plans and conduct periodic inventories of consumable materials. Will c onstruct, plan, implement, and perform follow-up on a preventative maintenance program for the Assembly line. Will o perate on occasion a post or relieve an operator for break to ensure continuous flow of product. In addition, will p articipate in weekly production review meetings with the Unit Manager. The schedule is 10:30pm to 7:00am Sunday thru Thursday. Paid OT available as straight time if work on the weekend. There is 2% profit sharing, 5% bonus potential, a 5% shift differential, major company benefits as well as relocation assistance available.Experience:
Two-year degree or equivalent experience in a technical field required.
Manufacturing experience required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Leadership role.

5S L ean S ix S igma training. Management training.
Must be Self-Motivated
Knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, Project, and Power Point.
Preferred Skills : Four Year degree desired and plastic injection mold experience.
