Program Coordinator Position Description:
This position is responsible for programming and event coordination for Creative Nomads programs. The Program Coordinators duties will include administrative oversight and coordination of programs, volunteer management, and logistical and administrative support. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with our community and have a significant impact on the experience of program participants. This is a part-time position, scheduled for 15-20 hours a week.

Job Duties + Responsibilities:
- Assist with Creative Nomads programming
- Coordinating programs and events (timelines, logistics, vendors, promotion, confirming features, arranging travel, etc)
- Assisting with organizing team retreats and team building activities
- Managing volunteers
- Coordinating vendors (food, photogs, videographers, etc)
- Communicating with facilitators as needed.
- Generating reports (sending and receiving surveys, comments and feedback, counts of participants, etc)
- Assisting with invoices and billing for programs
- Ordering and organizing supplies
- Assist with securing sponsors and partners
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- 2 years experience working as a Program Coordinator
- Self-starter and highly motivated
- Adept at communicating ideas to a range of stakeholders.
- Passionate about the work. You are motivated by the mission of the Creative Nomads.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and show a high level of attention to detail in your work..
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to develop, nurture, and build internal and external relationships.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- Ability to take initiative with projects and multi-task.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to perform other duties and responsibilities as needed, required, or assigned.
Education, Experience and Skills
- Associates degree or higher preferred.
- Excellent written + verbal communication skills
- Selected candidates will undergo a background check
- Professional certification preferred but not required
