Sylvan Learning Center located in Manteca, California is looking for an In-Person PROGRAM COORDINATOR (Education). This is a part time position 32 - 38 hrs/wk with possibilities of full-time. We need a highly motivated individual who can be responsible for creating a positive instructional environment. Responsibilities include supervising a high quality of personalized tutoring programs, mentoring teachers & regular conferencing with parents & school teachers. The person is directly responsible for maintaining the highest quality of education delivery and meeting every enrolled student's academic goals. You should have very strong abilities of developing a rapport with each student and their families.

Responsibilities for this position also include meeting student enrollment goals and achieving growth targets for the center. You will be involved in creating marketing initiatives that will attract prospective students and their families to seek help from the center. You will engage in community outreach activities that increase awareness of our programs and build strong relationships with local schools and community organizations. Position requires phone follow-ups and ongoing communication with prospective families about Sylvan programs and offerings using multiple communication channels. Familiarity with web/social networking and advertising tools to reach out to customers will be advantageous.

Familiarity with Manteca, Lathrop, Ripon, Escalon, Oakdale, Tracy, Stockton, Modesto and surrounding communities will be a significant advantage.

To qualify, you NEED A MINIMUM *BACHELOR'S DEGREE* AND will preferably hold *Teaching credentials* (any state certification - current or expired is acceptable). Two plus years of experience with a Marketing or Outreach and Sales or Business development is an advantage for this position. Excellent organization, communication, and strong customer service skills are required.

This is a fast-paced, multi-tasking work environment. Work schedule will vary but will include afternoon and evenings (after school hours) and Saturday morning hours only depending upon the needs of the position.

Pay: $39,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
