The Job

*Active DoD Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance required and CI Poly preferred*

Profit and loss responsibility leading the Special Communications Business within the Tactical Missions Division of the Intel and Cyber Sector. Responsible for directing a team of program managers across a portfolio of programs from inception through completion. Owns strategic planning, development, and execution of the plan. Coordinates closely with Division General Manager to align business objectives with Corporate objectives. Owns and executes an annual operating plan that includes financial objectives and discretionary budgets. Drives program execution in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs. Leads program managers that are responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Approves the proposals, business plans, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as a representative to multiple government and commercial customers and develops strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Leads program review sessions to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance to drive accountability of program leadership teams.

Functions:

• Ensures programs are executing within compliance with specifications, performance requirements, schedules, cost commitments, and internal policies and procedures
• Manages a highly experienced team and will be responsible for creating workforce and staffing plans
• Responsible for establishing the direction for new processes, systems, solutions, and products using significant conceptualization, reasoning, and interpretation
• Extensively analyzes implications of both near and long-term solutions
• Own and develop tactical and operational plans and goals for a business area
• Recommends and implements strategies and develops operational plans/goals that directly impact the mid- to long-term function or business area achievements

  
  Qualifications:

• Top Secret/SCI Clearance required
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience; Or, Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
• Hardware development experience
• System development experience
• P&L experience
• Program execution experience
• Experience with technology and customers
• Requires advanced program management, business knowledge, leadership capabilities and broad experience across multiple related professional disciplines

Preferred Skills:

• TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
• Engineering degree
• Intelligence community and DOD development program experience
