Women's Resource Center advocates for the personal empowerment and economic self-sufficiency of women and girls in La Plata County. WRC envisions a future where ALL women and girls have the opportunity to thrive.

Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Program Manager (PM) is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of all programs of WRC.

Duties and Responsibilities

General

• Articulates the mission and vision of the organization
• Adheres to the parameters of the program budgets
• Implements, manages and evaluates all programs
• Produces and provides program reports to the ED
• Trains and oversees volunteers, interns, etc.
• Develops, implements, and oversees all planning and activities for youth programs
• Works with the Program Committee to develop and implement new programs
• Manages applications and works with program councils and committees
• Participates in event planning and implementation
• Responsible for grant management, reporting and submittal of program grants
• Meets weekly with WRC staff to ensure effective communications
• Participates in the planning and implementation of strategic plans
• Works directly with clientele and executes case management, while maintaining strict confidentiality
• Presents organization information to businesses, agencies and civic groups (public speaking)
• Fulfills ED responsibilities while the ED is on leave

Qualifications

• 2 years of program
• 2 years non-profit experience
• Proficient at writing and editing grants
• Organized and deadline oriented
• Excellent partnership skills and ability to work with private and public sectors
• Flexible and cooperative approach to problem solving
• Understands the mission/vision of the organization and can relate it to others
• Maintains a positive attitude that encourages participation and enthusiasm
• Respects other people’s viewpoints and skills, good listening and communication skills, willingness to compromise and collaborate
• Values diversity and helps to create an organizational culture that appreciates and respects differences
• Displays integrity, self-confidence, persuasiveness, decisiveness, and creativity

Job Type: Full-time (32 hrs/wk start)

Pay: $31,000.00 - $36,000.00 per year (potential for expanded hours & pay)
