Summary


The Program Manager will be responsible for leading, planning, evaluating, analyzing and implementing agency wide initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine organization goals, develops plans, formulates, defends, justifies personnel and financial resources, and approves distribution of resources.
  • Advise leadership on the proper utilization of personnel to meet program requirements and leverages resources to accomplish the mission.
  • Develop program management standards and ensures alignment with strategic plans through a continuous program of review and analysis to assess the progress and effectiveness of the organization in relation to program objectives, budget limitations, schedules, and priorities.

Requirements:

  • Must have 10 years of experience managing Federal human capital projects.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing risks, issues, and dependencies in a human capital change management project.
  • Experience with working on large, complex programs and extensive program and client expectation management.
  • Must have the ability to think critically and apply appropriate levels of challenge to workstream plans, risks, issues, and dependencies Strong stakeholder management, influencing and team playing skills.
  • Must have demonstrated experience leading and interacting with team in a matrix organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and networks with leadership, headquarters, and employee/field groups
  • Proven record of accomplishment navigating through complex organizations, and with strong influencing skills to drive initiative through to their successful conclusion. Experience with executive-level reporting
  • 4 years of experience leading large/Enterprise HR or non-IT projects
  • Must have formal project management qualifications- PMI/PMP certification.
  • Must have experience utilizing MS Project. PMBOK Certified.
