The Woodfin Program Manager will be responsible for direct supervision of all case managers on the Woodfin Team and responsible for all daily tasks related to supporting these staff members. This position will move with the Woodfin case managers to our new Compass Point Village housing complex once open in 2023. Addition Case Managers will be added to the team at that time increasing supervisory requirements of this role. This individual will be expected to know and understand all grant requirements and be able to provide approval and oversight for all operations. Additionally, the individual will work closely with the PSH Program Director and Assitant Director to continually develop the program and ensure adherence to all grant requirements and policies and procedures. The individual will conduct internal monitoring and ongoing assessments of program efficacy. The Program Manager will also work closely with the Security Director to ensure resident and staff safety.

Responsibilities:
Personnel management of team

  • Ensure compliance with agency policies & procedures, including participation in required meetings/training, timelines and accuracy of reporting, tracking quality and quantity of work, and overall professionalism
  • Ensure team members are equipped with knowledge, ability, and supplies needed to work effectively
  • Provide supervision through weekly team meetings and bi-monthly individual supervision, and in the field as needed
  • Serve as the first line of problem-solving and support for team members, prior to bringing concerns to the PSH director
  • Evaluate team members’ work and support performance changes as needed, both on an ongoing basis and in annual evaluations

Administration

  • Accurately complete job assignments, agency forms and written documents within assigned deadlines (e.g. rent spreadsheets)
  • Ensure compliance with HUD requirements for Continuum of Care grants for all team members and their clients
  • Work with HACA to ensure compliance with their regulations
  • Track project impact through clients’ arrest, EMS, and hospitalization data

Direct client services

  • Carry a small caseload of Woodfin resident
  • Direct case management through supervision of other team members
  • Ensure effective service delivery to Woodfin clients
  • Work with the PSH director and Asst. director to make decisions about entries into/ exits from the Woodfin
  • Work with the Security Director to ensure project safety for residents, guests, and staff
  • Lead program development for the Woodfin, in conjunction with the Security Director and PSH Director, to increasingly support positive outcomes for clients
  • Work with the Security Director, PSH Director, and Asst. Director to coordinate crisis response on-site and as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Social Work or related degree
  • At least 2 years experience in homeless services or related field
  • Strong leadership ability, supervision experience preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong administrative ability and attention to detail
  • Flexibility: ability to adjust to the diverse needs of clients
  • Ability to provide leadership and services in alignment with Homeward Bound’s mission, vision, values and philosophy of service delivery
  • Ability to work effectively both as a team player and with a high degree of autonomy
  • Ability to operate proficiently a personal computer, fax machine, printer, and copier
  • Experience and skills in word processing and databases required
  • Ability to create relationships with community partner agency staff and foster those relationships to increase program effectiveness

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,200.00 per year
