About Swords to Plowshares Weekend Evening Program Monitor - Mission Bay

Must be able to communicate effectively with a variety of personalities and be comfortable embracing the agency’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiative and the principles of Cultural Humility.

• Complete daily shift report and incident reports prior to completion of shift
• Post flyers on bulletin boards, and social activity announcements when needed
• Assist Property Management with social activities and community meetings including setting up kitchen for events and meetings
• Maintain a clean and presentable work area, building entry, and lobby (including cleaning front desk refrigerator and microwave)
• Maintain 86 list, and inform Property Management of any updates
• Translatable military experience and skills may be alternatively substituted (preferable)
• Applicant has experience in coordinating Social Activities
• Applicant has experience in filing and dictation

Skills

• Organized, with attention to detail
• An understanding of and ability to communicate with diverse types of people
• Ability to both work independently and be a part of a team
• Applicants are required to have competency in Microsoft W ord, PowerPoint and E xcel, etc.
• Translatable military experience and skills may be alternatively substituted (preferable)

Qualifications

• Ability to both work independently and be a part of a team

• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to communicate effectively with a variety of personalities and be comfortable working with an at-risk client population, including embracing the agency’s Diversity , Eq uity, and Inclusion i nitiative
• Organized, with attention to detail
• An understanding of and ability to communicate with diverse types of people
