PAR West is currently seeking a Program/Project Analyst 3 will be responsible for supporting multiple project managers with oversight to approximately 10-15 projects at any given time. The successful candidate will work throughout the service territory to provide administrative field support to the Project Managers and Planners, and assistance as needed in support of job walks, bid walks, preconstruction meetings, planning meetings, workload assessments and engineering job walks.
Preferred Experience
  • Must have a minimum of three or more years of experience in an analytical role
  • Must have a minimum of one or more years of project experience supporting Substation Construction, Construction Field Forces (CFF), Infrastructure Replacement (IR), load growth, large capital projects, and/or large infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated experience using various software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio in creating and editing complex reports, graphs, and presentations, converting information from one software to another, using advanced software/system functions and generating nonstandard reports from business applications and databases
  • Demonstrated experience planning, organizing, and prioritizing multiple projects concurrently in a team environment and independently with minimum supervision
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Perform in a lead role and will act in the capacity of the Project Manager in his/her absence which include executing small and complex projects in support of key strategic initiatives, conducts meetings, supporting actions and follow-up, and resolve action items as needed
  • 25% travel may be required throughout the territory
  • Prepares detailed and complex presentations, analysis, and provides recommendations in support of major program, project, or business unit and corporate goals after careful consideration of several alternatives developed from independent internal and external research in support of key programs, projects, contracts, or business unit goals
  • Creates and maintains records, logs, documents, files, or databases for use in monitoring, tracking, and trending program/project costs, resources, schedules, and status for management
  • As an independent analyst or in a lead capacity, plans, develops, and coordinates the design and implementation of mid to large-sized projects or a component of these projects
  • Single point of contact for Project Contracts within a region
  • Issuance of Preq's, invoices, Request for Proposal documentation (RFP's), SES's, field change orders, internal change orders, accruals and scorecards
  • Will work throughout the service territory to provide administrative field support to the Project Managers and Planners, and assistance as needed in support of job walks (meeting minutes), bid walks, preconstruction meetings, planning meetings, workload assessments and engineering job walks.
