Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Junior Project Control Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work with a team on multiple projects .

What You'll Be Doing:

• Updating and analyzing weekly Estimate at Complete (EAC) files and providing analysis to senior project control engineers.
• Reviewing subcontract files for accuracy and filing and documenting their completion.
• Generating subcontractor invoices and assisting with reconciliation of weekly hours as needed.
• Requesting corrections for timecards and vouchers
• Tracking the status of subcontractor invoices and ensuring all approvals are received
• Generating subcontractor onboarding requests and obtaining the necessary data for doing so by interacting with the program manager and subcontractor program manager.
• Generating weekly timecard reports to alert managers of timecards that need approvals and checking for accuracy.
• Assisting with charge code management to ensure proper charging to the contracts.

• Solid understanding of basic to intermediate Excel formulas and ability to research and learn new formulas and concepts
• Detail-oriented and positive attitude
• Desire to provide a quality product rather than simply meet the minimum requirements
• Ability to solve complex problems regarding number discrepancies within large sets of data.
• Solid time-management skills and a dedication to consistently meeting deadlines.
• Ability to be flexible and learn new skills and processes often

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Knowledge of the Costpoint accounting system is a plus.
• Understanding of Workday and/or SharePoint
• Basic understanding of using PowerPoint to display linked charts in Excel

Salary Range:

$27.36 - $47.88
