The Project Coordinator will assist and support all efforts of project management and regional operations for the Tampa Branch.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform office duties to support HR, Purchasing, Training and Marketing functions for regional office.
- Project assistant for Project Managers and Regional
- Complete the setup of new projects which includes transferring estimating files into the job folder, creating job books (as needed) and setting up project in construction software.
- Create project Subcontracts and forward to Subcontractor and Project Manager for review and signatures.
- Coordinate the submittal process which includes creating submittals based on the project drawings and specifications, direction from the Project Manager and trades.
- Also maintaining and tracking submittals both in the Construction Software and the shared drive on the server.
- Secure permits required for B & I trades and maintain record of all active/closed permits.
- Maintain project Warranty Log.
- Assist the PM in the close out process by requesting and assembling the O&M (Operation & Maintenance) data, Warranties and As- Built Drawings, forwarding to PM for review.
- Type and assemble required field data, such as Valve Schedules, Electrical Panel Schedules, Equipment tag lists, etc.
- Maintain archive files and archiving of completed projects that are out of warranty.
- Create and maintain project forms in construction software for field use.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of two (2) years office experience, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
- Associates Degree preferred, but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel.
- Ability to speak, read and write in Spanish preferred.
SAFETY AWARENESS:
Executes all tasks as assigned in a safe manner and utilize safe work practices as appropriate. Must wear PPE equipment when entering working around or in an area designated as PPE required.
Must undergo Driver’s Skills Assessment training necessary for travel to worksites (if applicable).
Will train on OSHA 10 and 30 as appropriate.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have good vision.
Must be able to speak and hear clearly.
Must be able to use hands, fingers, arms and legs fully and be able to bend, kneel and crouch, reach overhead, push, pull and lift up to 30 pounds.
