Founded in 2010, Sullivan Engineering is a rapid growth firm that specializes in Building Envelope
services. We are currently a team of 61, with offices in NY, NJ, MA and AZ. In 2020, Sullivan Engineering
was acquired by Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc. which has allowed us to fuel our growth even further. Our
growth is attributed to our firm being high on transparency, accountability and continuing education with
our Core Values providing clear guidance. We are extremely goal driven with our entire team taking on
goals each quarter and clearly defined 1-year, 3- year and 10-year goals

Candidates should be familiar with the following:

  • Microsoft Word and Excel templates
  • Interaction with project stakeholders (property managers, owners reps,
    contractors, etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review and finalize deliverables which include:
  • Field Reports
  • Meeting Minutes
  • Exterior Building Reports
  • Building Envelope Surveys
  • RFP’s
  • Leak Investigations
  • Ensure all Meeting Minutes and Field Reports meet our guarantee of a two-day turnaround
  • Assist in creating specifications for design projects
  • Execute the bid process including:
  • Creation and distribution of the bid package
  • Follow up with contractors to ensure attendance at on-site walk throughs
  • Creation and distribution of all addenda and bid matrices
  • Achieve weekly utilization rates
  • Attend & contribute to all weekly team meetings
  • Maintain existing client relationships in a polite and professional manner
  • Answering our phone system in a courteous and proficient manner while directing calls and taking
messages appropriately
  • The above mentioned responsibilities are not an exhaustive list of duties for this position, but
rather a highlight of them. You may be asked to perform job responsibilities beyond this scope as
necessitated by your changing role within the organization, and the overall business objectives of the organization

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 2-4 years experience with technical writing – preference of experience within the A/E/C industry;
    however, not required
  • A track record of assisting team members to hit deadlines
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Possess strong motivation skills to drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be extremely detail orientated
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must possess ability to work well independently and produce results within challenging deadlines

The Salary Range for this position is $50,000 - $80,000 and is dependent on education, experience, location and certifications/licensure.
