PROJECT ENGINEER CIVIL - ENTRY LEVEL FAIRFAX VIRGINIA

HEAVY HIGHWAY/ CIVIL / CONSTRUCTION

BRUCE & MERRILEES– TRANSPORTATION DIVISION - HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Key Responsibilities

· Assist Project Manager with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts

· Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines

· Responsible for RFI and submittal process

· Assist field team with questions on design and customer requirements

· Assist in estimating functions

Qualifications

· B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering Management

· Experience Level– Completed at least one internship or some work experience in construction, estimating, operations and/or engineering

· Passion for safety

· Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work independently to meet/exceed deadlines, goals and objectives with strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.

· Strong work ethic with the ability to have FUN on the job with their teammates!

Desired Knowledge/Experience

· Construction Industry

· Primavera P6, MS Project, Viewpoint, Bluebeam, or Heavy Bid

· DOT/Heavy Highway, Transportation and/or airport construction

· Finance/Accounting
