Job Description
This is a remote position.
Our Ideal Candidate
You are a highly-organized and detail-oriented professional. You will report to Director, Global Head, Enterprise Sourcing, Procurement & External Workforce Management and will plan, establish, and manage projects and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects. This position will provide leadership for each category including strategy/plans, strategic sourcing, and other strategic procurement processes such as supplier relationship management, spend performance management, category governance, and supplier diversity.
Expected Work Hours and Timezone
You are expected to work during US business hours (Eastern Time), and occasional weekends depending on the business needs.
As a Project Manager, you will provide excellence by:
- Tracking the overall program
- Executes strategic initiatives, and as necessary drive ongoing operational excellence improvement projects across the organization (including process and technology implementation)
- Analyzes industry trends and evolving procurement technologies to proactively identify opportunities to adapt leading practices
- Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.
- Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
- Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
- Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Consider yourself highly qualified if you have:
- Project Management Professional (PMP)Certification.
- At least 10 years of experience in leading and executing projects in the financial services sector.
- Sound knowledge of Agile/ Scrum Project Management methodologies and application.
- Knowledge in Excel Analysis, requirement gathering, and can confidently create client presentations using MS Project, Powerpoint, Visio etc.
- Extensive client-facing experience in presenting proposals and project coordination.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills.
