Project Managers – General Contracting Division

Position Overview:

We have an immediate need for Construction Project Managers in our General Contracting Division to be based out of our Canton, GA office location. The Project Managers will organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organization’s general contracting Design-Build and Grocery Divisions.

Responsibilities:

• Leads the project team to complete an assigned project on time, on/under budget, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency
• Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly
• Creates new project estimates
• Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project
• Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates
• Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints
• Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk
• Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project from both Internal and External Stakeholders
• Serve as the single POC (point of contact) company, customers, and subcontractor/vendors
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Possess financial acumen to understand revenue recognition, process change orders, and budget adjustments
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Ability to run projects with limited drawings

Qualifications:

• Prior experience managing all aspects of large and small projects in the construction industry
• Experience in estimating/quantity take-off is highly desirable
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Primavera, Procore or other project management related software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
• Must be willing to travel up to 25%

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
