The City of Brentwood is seeking an individual to join our team who is experienced in construction project support and contract administration for the development of a municipal park system, open space, trails and landscape parkways. The Project Services Specialist performs a variety of para-professional level duties and responsibilities in support of the City’s Park and Recreation Department. The ideal candidate for the current vacancy assists in the day to day management of projects including but not limited to: capital improvement projects, development projects, redevelopment projects, software projects and maintenance projects. Tracking CIP projects, monitoring budgets and maintaining files of project contracts, reports, updates and related materials are essential tasks. Writing skills, communication skills and ensuring staff reports for City Council and Park and Recreation Commission meetings are in compliance with assigned area of responsibility are necessary for this position. The candidate will need to have the ability to learn quickly and display good judgment, communicate effectively with the public, as well as be organized, flexible, approachable, resourceful, and a positive team contributor.

Pay: $95,400.72 - $115,960.20 per year
