TITLE: Promotions Team Member

WAGE: Non-Exempt Grade 6, $16.00 - $17.39

JOB SUMMARY:
The Promotions Team Member will enthusiastically lead groups through the promotional giveaways, VIP parties, live floor events, game shows, concerts, etc. by interacting with customers. They will act as a spokesperson or emcee for casino events, coordinating with organizers, and ensuring the event is on track and guests are enjoying themselves.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Promotions Team Member will work under the general supervision of the Events and Promotions Manager and is granted the authority to accomplish the duties and responsibilities established for the position, including, but not limited to the following:

• Creativity and other performance skill are encouraged since you are responsible for creating memorable events for our customers
• Maintain open communication with management and all departments of scheduled events
• Come to work with a good attitude, ready to have fun and ensure our customers a fun environment
• Handle any problems or difficult situations with a positive attitude, stay calm under pressure; work with integrity
• Listen carefully to guests for suggestions and provide feedback to Marketing Team
• Assist with the creation and development of events, promotions, and other marketing activities
• Project and maintain professional image and appearance as well as demonstrate an ability to interact positively with customers, the public, and vendors
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Marketing, or Events and Promotions Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:
The qualifications for the Promotions Team Member are as follows:

• Knowledge of casino gaming experience
• Ability to speak effectively in front of groups and guests; emcee experience; use of the PA system
• Excellent customer interaction skills
• Desired attributes include fun, personable, creative, friendly, outgoing, spontaneous, customer service oriented
• Neat and professional appearance
• Cash handling experience
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision making; responsible and reliable
• Team-oriented and cooperative individual with strong visual, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude in fast-paced, constantly changing work environment
• Knowledge of effective planning/implementation techniques

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
The Promotions Team Member shall have overall good physical and mental health to work in a fast paced environment. The position will require standing, walking, bending, use of hands and arms. Will occasionally sit, climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The Promotions Team Member is required to lift on occasion up to 50 pounds.

The Promotions Team Member shall not, at any time or in any manner, outside the course of performing his/her duties, either directly or indirectly, disclose or communicate to any person, firm or corporation in any manner whatsoever, any information concerning matters affecting or relating to the business of Fortune Bay Resort Casino. This includes, but is not limited to, confidential personnel and customer information, company or department operations and plans, financial data, procedures and processes, or other information without regard to the matters being deemed confidential, material or important.
