Summary of Position:
The Property Manager is responsible for maintaining the quality of the property, and the pre-determined occupancy goals, and achieving maximum cash flow for ownership. The Property Manager ensures the smooth operation of the community and complies with Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity laws, as well as the company’s policies and procedures for marketing, leasing, accounting, maintenance, resident relations, and all site-level management reporting. This position hires, trains, motivates, supervises, and provides guidance, coaching, and counseling to on-site personnel.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of property and supervisory experience
- Minimum of two years of tax credit experience
- Strong written/verbal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Ability to work with computers in word processing and property management software; Yardi experience preferred.
- Basic accounting skills and understanding of financial reports
- Ability to make independent decisions and handle emergencies professionally
Job Requirements:
- High School or GED. Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to fluently speak and understand English, Spanish language a plus
- Must be flexible and able to work alternate schedules as needed
- Reliable transportation with a valid state-issued driver's license and current liability vehicle insurance.
- Report to work on time with a neat and professional appearance and be courteous and pleasant to residents and associates always.
- Ability to clear a background screen and drug test
- Must thoroughly understand and abide by all Fair Housing Laws and HTC/HOME compliance, as applicable.
Physical Demands:
Inspection of Property will include walking and climbing of stairs. The position may require lifting, carrying, and pushing, pulling 25 lbs. Occasionally, frequently up to 15 lbs. or negligible amounts regularly. Phone usage is also required, as is the need to speak professionally and clearly.

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
