This full-time, one-year AmeriCorps VISTA service position is hosted by the Public & School Partnership (PSP) and is based at Little Lambs Foundation for Kids in Logan, UT. Little Lambs is committed to alleviating poverty for families in Cache County by connecting them to needed resources and support programs. The organization receives an incredible support from the community, grants, and other agencies in the form of tangible/in-kind resources. The goal of this VISTA position is to streamline, build capacity, and ensure sustainability of Little Lambs’ resource coordination efforts. The VISTA will work with the Program and Executive Directors in the development and improvement of systems, processes, and protocols related to resource coordination so that Little Lambs can better support families and kids. The VISTA will in turn gain a deep understanding of the inner workings of a high- functioning nonprofit. AmeriCorps VISTA is a National Service program. All AmeriCorps VISTA positions are full-time hours for one calendar year, as mandated by the Corporation for National and Community Service. Successful completion of a one-year service term qualifies all VISTA members for either an education award of $6345 or a cash stipend of $1800 (direct deposit). The pay, a living stipend, is $1350 per month.

Member Duties : Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: -Research, develop, and implement sustainable and systems and for tracking donated and acquired resources. -Collaborate with Program Director to assess implemented resource coordination efforts and to determine how donated items will best impact clients and communities throughout Utah. -Develop written materials in order to document all developed systems and processes in a sustainable platform.
