Located in beautiful St. Helena, Markham is inviting applicants for Part-Time Host/Concierge positions to join our elite team of wine professionals. This dynamic position is a unique hands-on opportunity to be a part of dynamic team that implements exceptional customer service sales standards in the heart of Napa wine country. Our culture is focused on sustainability, inclusion, and growth. This position is Part-Time, working working Sat. - Mon., 16-20 hours/week with the opportunity to increase hours during busy months,

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greet all guests upon arrival in a warm and welcoming manner
• Consistently demonstrate best in class customer service skills and poise and tact in working with the public
• Maintain inventory of menus, printed materials and paper goods; print as needed and alert management to needs.
• Engage in proactive teamwork with all members of the Tasting Room team
• Help clearing tables as needed
• Participate and assist with private group tastings and events at the winery
• Handle routine purchasing transactions
• Work cross-functionally with the guest services team
• Assist guests in restaurant and lodging recommendations
• Answer phone reservation inquiries and assists guests with scheduling
• Manage the table seating and assigning of wine ambassadors to our guests
• Must be able to provide U.S. Work authorization without sponsorship

We are looking for a person with excellent customer service skills for a fast-past environment, with previous experience in winery or restaurant atmosphere. In this role you must demonstrate strong organizational skills, willingness to work within constant changing priorities, using good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions. To be successful in this role you must be a proactive team member, standing for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation, working a flexible schedule that includes weekends, evenings and/or holidays, and have reliable transportation to and from St. Helena, CA. Must be 18 years or older.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
