General Function and Job Duties:
Central Piedmont is currently seeking a PT Model position available in the Visual Arts Division located on Central Campus, Overcash Building.

Provides modeling needs for art courses. All work is performed under the supervision of the class instructor during class hours.
Anticipated hiring date: October 2022, also as needed
Work Schedule: Follows ART 132 and ART 135 class schedule Days and times for modeling are dependent on course schedules.
Hours per week: Approximately 6 hours/week
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Poses in front of students in art courses for photographs, drawings, paintings or sculptures.
2. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older and not currently a Central Piedmont student
Model must be capable of holding a variety of standing and/or sitting poses from gestures to sustained poses from 30 seconds to as long as 20 minutes of continuous modeling time, followed by 5 minute breaks for up to a total of 2.75 hours per session.
Reliability, punctuality and professionalism in conduct are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a Life Model preferred
Working Conditions:
Typical classroom environment; work requiring holding a pose for periods of 15 to 60 minutes; vocal communications is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; visual acuity is required for observing general surroundings and activities

Conditions of Employment:
Salary for this position is $20.41hr. Pay grade for this position is part-time. Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include off-shift hours, evening and weekend assignments may be required of any position. All positions are subject to budget approval.
