Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Monitor the inventory levels in our Miami Valley Hospitals storeroom and deliver supplies there as needed.
- Pull supply orders for hospitals and various clients and RRL’s.
- Answer phone from clients and take orders from them.
- Perform routine maintenance functions at the Sandridge facility.
- Collect all biohazard waste containers on a daily basis according to all regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor storage and removal of Xylene waste containers and drums according to established protocol and regulations.
- Perform miscellaneous duties including, but not limited to, monitoring refrigeration, water quality, vacuum systems and record boxes.
- Promote positive communication with vendors, clients and coworkers.
- Comply with all departmental, company and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
- Warehouse receiving, and distribution experience preferred.
- Some data entry experience preferred.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds consistently on a daily basis.
- Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license, demonstrate a safe driving record and be able to meet CompuNet's insurance carrier's standards for insurability.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs. consistently and on a daily basis.
- Must be able to drive a 20 ft. Box truck to area hospitals. (automatic)
- Must be able to work with other team members.
- Must be able to stand for long periods at a time.
- Will have exposure to biohazard substances and hazardous chemicals
- Be familiar with and adhere to safety, ergonomic and health policies of the Company.
- Comply with all PPE requirements when in the laboratory or other biohazard areas.
- Complete required safety training and health evaluations in a timely manner.
- Anticipate safety hazards, act upon unsafe situations and promote safety awareness.
