Darling Ingredients is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to join our team at our plant in Mifflintown, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory for the division to ensure parts and materials are available as needed for repairs, replacements, etc.

Job Summary:

• Creates purchase requisitions.
• Maintain records of all purchases.
• Make entries into computer based inventory program (SAP).
• Ensures parts and materials are available as needed for repair and replacement.
• Manages plant MRO budget and cost controls.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Maintain inventory control.
• Prices and requisitions parts, tools, and equipment.
• Creates purchase requisitions.
• Maintain records of all purchases.

• Ensures parts and materials are available as needed for repair and replacement.

Physical Demands:

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

• Typical plant environment, which is noisy, and can be hot and humid.
