QA/C# Test Automation Engineer

Location: Remote role

Who are we looking for: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Sr Quality engineer to lead quality assurance across multiple client applications in HP Personal systems software organization. Our cloud software products provide management, analytics, and telemetry services to enterprise customers. Our Software Development Engineers use their skills and passion to solve engineering problems of moderately complex scope with limited project direction input.

Technical Skills:

Conduct requirement analysis and test data preparation Develop test strategy, testing plan, test design Perform windows client application testing C# for automation scripting Perform test execution, QA reviews, defect tracking and analysis Prompt on troubleshooting, debugging and root cause analysis Demonstration experience in testing window applications Perform Data quality checks and identify data-related issues Experience in JIRA, Azure Dev-Ops Project management tools for defect tracking knowledge of CICD - (GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, Maven)

Your responsibilities will include:

Work closely with the Back end, UI, Data Engineers and Product Managers, to write and groom stories, and create and execute test plans Create and Manage automation testing frameworks for applications (web, client, server, and cloud) using C# Design testing strategy and execution plan Translate user stories to Manual/automated tests that can be reviewed by peers Responsible for the review, setup and execution of test plans and test cases, both manual Identify the failures and root causes of issues to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product to customers. Participate in continuous delivery and deployment, take ownership, and strive to become a better problem solver Participate in software and system performance analysis, tuning, and demand/capacity planning for business-critical, large-scale, and high availability applications.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. 6+ years strong QA experience. Good Experience of windows client application testing. Experience with automating tests with tools such as C# 4+ years of QA/testing experience in microservices and components, and data processing pipelines Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English and the local language. Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases. proficient in writing queries and validating data. Knowledge of any Cloud-related technologies like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Delivery of one or more large-scale enterprise products is a plus
