What you'll do:
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- System test and test result updating in timely manner.
- Ready to learn new wireless access technologies.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Monitor debugging process results.
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
What you must have:
- Good experience in Platform and 4G
- 5-7years of relevant experience will be required.
- Knowledge of scripting languages from Python, Perl
- Good understanding on UMTS/LTE/GSM air interface concepts, calls flows and protocols
- Basic exposure to NodeB-UE functional testing with E2E understanding and working with UEs and core
- Good knowledge on protocols – RRM, RRC, RLC, MAC, RANAP, S1AP, NAS
- Experience with LAN/WAN, routing protocols, TCP/IP, QoS, Tunneling and security protocols. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and manage parallel time-critical tasks
- Good understanding of 3GPP standards
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel as needed
- Must be a US Citizen
Education:
- Bachelor’s (B.E/B.Tech) or Master’s degree (M.E. or M.Tech.) in Electronics/Communication/Computer Science Engineering or equivalent training, education and experience.
