Workd is seeking a talented Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI or remotely!
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Hires and trains quality assurance staff
- Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
- Trains and motivates employees to ensure that quality standards are met
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery
- Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products
- Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff
- Participates in product testing
- Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues
- Reviews client, customer, and user feedback
- Coordinates product testing processes
- Creates and implements company quality standards
- Accomplishes quality assurance objectives by monitoring, reviewing, and enforcing policies and procedures
- Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing to information analysis
- Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes
- Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, and compliance audits
- Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
