General Summary of Position:

The Quality Control Manager will oversee and manage Granite's Quality Control in Lincoln Rl Logistics Center. Including hiring, training, coaching and developing staff. Work closely with The Supply Chain Manager to ensure accurate and appropriate Quality control for Granites rapid order fulfillment, configuration and shipment needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage Quality Control for Warehousing, Order fulfillment, Configuration and Shipping.
• Coordinate and coach staff including warehouse, configuration center, shipping & receiving, and return management on Quality Control
• Build Quality Control plans to minimize missed shipments, partial orders, professional packaging
• Work with other Granite teams to understand their processes.
• Work with the Project teams at the beginning of a project to set quality checks for fulfillment, configuration and proper product packaging.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in a sales driven, same day ship, fast paced environment.
• Need to be able to shift priorities instantly and adapt to daily challenges.
• Experience in Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Bachelor's Degree
• 5 years of experience managing Quality control in a warehouse environment.
• Proven track record of Quality continuous improvement initiatives
• Experience with WMS systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS/MBA degree
• Intermediate or higher level of MS Excel skills
• Project management skills
• Ability to present ideas and influence others in a positive manner.
• Great team player with win-win attitude
• Great Plains experience helpful.
