Description

Job Type: Part/Full Time (Minimum of 30 hours/week)

Shift Schedule: M-F, 7a - 3pm (Can be flexible)

Salary: $18 - 19/hour

** Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

General Purpose

• Identify imperfections using mechanical or electronic equipment.
• Conduct analyses of samples, compile data and interpret and communicate the results.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Perform process checks throughout the system, including receipt of raw material, production, and packaging.
• Calibrate or oversee the calibration of all testing equipment.
• Schedule and execute sample submittals to external laboratory vendor for batch type testing.
• Receive and document batch type testing results from external laboratory vendor.
• Provide independent oversight of processes, verifying compliance to company standards and policies, and effectively communicating when there are deviations from standards or processes.
• Assist in training employees on quality control training programs and practices.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of quality control activities.
• Conduct research on quality assurance issues and deliver reports on research to management.
• Recommend, champion and execute program enhancements regarding quality assurance and production enhancements.
• Lifts up to 40lbs and standing/walking for up to 8 hours
